Laying the Foundation for Effective Business Software

Services Framework

The diagram below serves to illustrate our services and how they can be delivered.

For descriptive purposes we divide our services into three major groups as indicated by the vertical dashed lines:

I.  Business Requirements and Analysis
II. Software Requirements Definition
III. Vendor Selection and/or Software Design

Each of these is explained further below.

Business Requirements and Analysis is the essential step at the beginning of a software project.  The statement of the Desired Business Outcome together with the supporting analysis of business data and processes create the foundation for subsequent steps, regardless of the scope of the project or the nature of the need that is to be met.

Software Requirements Definition builds on Business Requirements and Analysis and defines the both the architecture and the functional content of the required software.

Depending on the scope of the project the Software Requirements Definition may be presented directly to Vendors via an RFP or a detailed Design Specification may be created prior to selecting a Vendor or proceeding with development internally.
